Preakness 2014
A few weeks ago (I know, I know, I am a bit behind on my blogging…) I went with a couple friends to Preakness and had such a fun time. For those of you who may not know what Preakness is, it is a horse race (more specifically, the second leg of the Triple Crown) that is held every year in Baltimore, Maryland.
While we were there, I got kissed by a horse (not really), ate some Boardwalk Fries, and even won my bet! Lorde headlined the InfieldFest this year, and there were performances from a number of other bands and singers as well. You can see more of Lorde’s performance in the video I made of Preakness 2014 (which is also at the bottom of this post), and you can see some pictures that I took below 🙂
Do not let the well-lit pictures and video deceive you– while the sun came out fiercely that day, the wind made the infield extremely chilly! Fortunately, I had decided to wear jeans, but didn’t think that I would end up wishing I brought a sweatshirt as well!
I also made a video (and wrote a short blog post) from when I went to Preakness in 2012 when Maroon 5 and Wiz Khalifa both came to perform. You can watch that video here, if you’d like.
