Halloween Activities 2013
Since tomorrow is Halloween, and the last day of October, I thought I would write a Halloween themed post going over all of fun things I did in October. This year, in order to get into the fall and Halloween sprit, I went to an orchard, made hot cider, went to a pumpkin patch, carved a pumpkin, went to the haunted forest, and (of course) watched Hocus Pocus. (Personally, watching Hocus Pocus is an absolute must in October. It is such a fun and perfect Halloween movie, completely gets me in the mood for the holiday, and it has actually become tradition for me to watch it around this time every year.)
One of the biggest events this month was going to the orchard because it encompassed so many Halloween themed activities. While we were there, I not only got my first hot cider of the season, but I also went on a hay ride, went to a pumpkin patch, and walked through a corn maze. I have included some of my favorite pictures from the orchard, as well as a picture of my carved pumpkin (which I carved with no stencil!) that I am actually quite proud of 🙂 .
Although I did not take many pictures from the Haunted Forest, I did include a couple clips of it in my Halloween-themed video below:
Happy Halloween!
